My New Room

Emerson's 3rd Birthday

Emerson turned 3 years old this past Wednesday. We spent the day at the Minnesota Children's Museum where Emerson had a blast! Afterwards we had lunch and headed home. She fell fast asleep before we even left downtown St. Paul.

This weekend we had family & friends over to celebrate her birthday. Thanks to everyone for coming to her party and making it a special day for her.

My Horsey

Last weekend while clothes shopping for Emerson & baby boy Hubbell, Emerson absolutely fell in love with this horse. It kept her occupied while Mom and Dad looked around, so when it was time to leave Emerson had a bit of trouble parting with her new friend, going so far as to hug and kiss it before we left.

While tucking her into bed that night, she asked Mom if we could go back to the store and visit the horsey. The following day during her nap, we decided to run back to the store and get it for her. It was too cute to see her walk into her playroom after naptime to discover "Neigh Neigh" (that's her name for her) waiting there for her. She turned to Mom and said "This is the one I was talking about!"

Long Overdue Post

Big news in Emerson's world. She's finally potty trained! During our holiday in Colorado we decided to give it another go and after a few accidents we got the concept to stick. Since that time she's done remarkable well, even at night. We're SUPER proud of her!

We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the Holiday Season.
