Busy Weekend

Emerson was one busy girl this weekend. She spent all day Saturday with Daddy while Mommy was at a wedding shower / bachelorette party. That morning, we went to her cousin Chase's baseball game in Woodbury, then out to lunch with Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie, Uncle, and Cousins. During a break in the party we went to visit Mommy for a while, then we were off to a barbecue at a friends house.

On Sunday, Mommy and Daddy took Emerson to the Como Zoo. She ended up sleeping the entire time, so we had to tell her about the animals we saw when she woke up. That night, we went out for dinner with her friends Sophia and Ava (and their parents of course).

A New Friend for Emerson

Emerson was blessed this week with a new friend. Jeremiah and Jamie Hales welcomed Ava into the world on April 16th. This picture was taken that evening. Isn't is amazing what 5 weeks can do to a little girl?

Emerson is doing really well and keeping Mom and Dad busy as ever.

Baptism

Today was Emerson baptism at Church of the Risen Savior in Burnsville. Her Grandpa & Grandma Hubbell, Grandpa & Grandma Quast, along with her God Parents Tasha Quast & Jeremiah and Jamie Hales all came to the church to witness this event. Afterwards we hosted a lunch at Emerson's house. She was a really good girl through the entire mass and baptism ceremony and looked adorable in her dress. We wanted to thank everyone for their cards, gifts, and well wishes on Emerson's big day.

Emerson is 1 Month Old Today!

Today is Emerson's 1 month birthday! She took her first trip to the airport to pick up her Aunt Tanya and Cousins, Carter and Sadie, who are visiting for the week. She was very excited to meet them. She also took her first bath in her infant bathtub and was a little uncertain about it at first but did a good job.

Day Off

Daddy has today off from work and is excited to be able to spend it at home with Mommy and Emerson. She slept through most of the night last night, going from 1:30 to about 6:30 this morning! Emerson will take her first real road trip this Sunday as we make our way to Cloquet for the Easter Holiday. Everyone back home is excited to see her again to see how much she has grown.

Another First!

Emerson experienced another first tonight by taking her dinnertime feeding from a bottle. It turned out to be two firsts because Daddy was able to feed her which has never happened before. Earlier in the day, Mommy and Emerson had lunch with Jamie & Sophia. Tonight was the Twins opener, which Emerson was really excited about until she fell asleep during the home half of the 7th.
