Emerson joined Mommy and Daddy Friday night at the Hales to cheer on the Bulldogs. Dad might need a pacemaker after UMD's 5-4 OT win over Princeton.

Water Park

We took Emerson to a water park this weekend. We had fun watching her splash around in the kiddie pool. This was one of the few pictures we manged to get of her on the slide. After a few trips, she decided it was more fun to get to the top and chicken out.

I'm Two Today!

Our Emerson turns 2 years old today! If we're daring, perhaps we'll wake her up at 11:19pm (the exact time she was born).

Dora's kind of scary

Last weekend we decided to escape the cold and spend some time at the Mall of America. Emerson has developed a liking for Dora the Explorer lately, and to our surprise she had made an appearance at the MOA that very day.

As you can see from these pictures, Emerson had some trepidations about meeting her. She seemed to be cool with the picture of Dora on the wall:

When it came time to meet the "real" Dora, Em decided to keep her distance:

In her defense, this Dora did seem a little creepy.
