Hi Everyone!

Emerson here again! I received a clean bill of health at my appointment last Saturday, that was the good news. The bad news is I was deemed well enough to get my shots! I was a brave little girl for the first one, but I didn't particularly care for the next three. Mommy and Daddy helped me through it though. Later that afternoon I watched my cousin Chase play baseball, then on Sunday I went shoe shopping with Mommy and Auntie Tasha. Daddy took this picture of me tonight after we got home from daycare.

Little Sweetie

Emerson's 4 month appointment last week went fairly well, but we learned she does have her first ear infection to go along with the cold she's been carrying for the past two weeks. We've been giving her an antibiotic for the ear infection, and hooking her up to a nebulizer to break apart her cold. She has been doing pretty well with all of these new experiences.

The good news is she's right on track with regard to physical and cognitive development. She weighed 15lbs 10oz and measured 24" long.

Last weekend she attended her 3rd Twins game of the season and spent some time with Grandma and Grandpa Hubbell.

4 Months Old!

Little Emerson turns 4 months old today! Mom and Dad celebrated by going to Cold Stone for some ice cream. Her 4 month check up is this Friday and we will be sure to post more that day.

Happy 4th of July!

Emerson celebrated her first 4th of July this year. She and Mommy and Daddy met some friends at Cleary Lake for a BBQ this afternoon. We played some games, then cooled off in the lake for a bit. The weather started to look pretty ominous, so we packed up and headed home around 6:00 where Emerson went straight into the bathtub.

She is also just getting over her first real cold. Her little nose has been stuffed up for a couple of days causing a couple of restless nights, but hopefully the worst is behind us.

Saturday Night at the Park

We joined the Hale's for some ice cream at the park last Saturday evening. Emerson took full advantage and dipped her feet in the water, with Mommy's help of course.

Father's Day Weekend

Mom, Dad, and Emerson had a fun weekend. Friday night while Mommy was having dinner with friends, Emerson and Daddy went to her cousin Chase's baseball game in West St. Paul. On Saturday since it was so warm outside, we retreated inside to the mall and shopped for a while, then went to Super Target for some groceries. Sunday we celebrated Father's Day by having a light breakfast on the patio at Panera, then we were off to the Twins game that afternoon. That evening we went to a concert at Nicollet Commons Park in Burnsville.

3 Months Old!

Today is Emerson's 3 month birthday! For her special day, Mommy and Daddy gave her a jumperoo. She's a little too short for it now, but in a month or so she'll be bouncing all over the place! We also went to Cleary Lake and went for a walk, but the heat forced us to cut it short.

Back to work and daycare tomorrow!
